Weather forecast is a bit depressing but I might put the camera out and hope for the best.

you never know with the weather though. I was sitting in the car at a dark site after over an hour of little glimpses of starlight last night thinking of heading home when I decided to have one more scan of the skies. got out of the car and 5 to 10 minutes later the clouds broke up and I got fully clear skies for about 50 minutes during which I saw 21 perseids and 2 sporadic meteors and also the bonus of the ISS going over too. my patience was well rewarded and went home alot happier than if I had given up after an hour or worse not bothered to chance going out at all. so hopefully the same will happen tonight!!
