Clear nights this week??

We have had no clear skies on the east coast for the last 10 evenings.

However, www.met.ie appear to be forecasting cold clear nights from Tuesday night onwards. I know we can be remarkably skeptical on such matters, but maybe there is some truth to it this time?? Can the weather people be wrong most of the time?

It's been awful hasn't it Aubrey? When I took this pic of Mercury on Apr 26th I was expecting several better views, but that was the last I saw of it for this apparition -

I hope to observe Mercury one last time on Wednesday night -it will be a crescent then!
I am not free tonight.

I cannot remember Sunday 26th April. Perhaps the last clear night we had was Thursday 30th.
