Hi all, have any of you brought a small telescope with you on holidays through Dublin airport? I have s small celestron C80ed and was thinking of bringing it.
The only option for me is to put in in the suitcase Apart from the scope being well covered up, chances are it will probably be damaged during transit. Any body had any problems with staff and the X-ray scanner, I really don’t want to cause hassle to the family if we are pulled aside :ermm:

Nah it’s too long, even at that I have binoculars, an astrotrac, eyepieces to name but a few. My wife thinks we are going to the moon
