Satellites, satellites, everywhere... was created by Paul-Byrne
..and they are a pain in the ...

Went out for a quick one hour session last night with my 15x70 binoculars.  While hunting down a number of deep-sky objects, the amount of satellites that whizzed through the field of view was crazy.  In almost every occasion where I turned the binoculars to the sky, a satellite was seen.  They really are becoming a nuisance and I can only wonder what they are doing to the mental state of astrophotographers.

I managed to bag, along with the satellites, M11, M27, the Double Cluster, split Albireo, the Coathanger, Omega 1 and Omega 2 Cygni, Saturn, Jupiter, M15, M13.  I tried for M92, M57, M56, M14 and failed.

Holding 15x70 binoculars is tiring on the arms after a while, maybe I will end up with large biceps.

I had an observing session on Monday night, and I saw 2 satellites following one another. I never saw that before.

By the way, Paul, I thought you had a decent mount for your binoculars.

Clear skies from Aubrey.
