Hi, everybody just passing this on from the Saturn Obsrevation Campaign!

Another Titan flyby occurs in less than 24 hours - on Astronomy Day
The Cassini website is updated with Titan flyby news, including the planned imaging coverage map, mission description and more. This will be the closest flyby yet - from 1,025 km (637 miles). Here's that link: saturn.jpl.nasa.gov/home/index.cfm

You'll also notice an Astronomy Day article on the Cassini website, right below the Titan section. This short article announces a new JPL website dedicated to Amateur Astronomers! Right now the page just lists the various JPL programs which serve the the amateur community (like the Space Place newsletters for astronomy clubs) or enlist amateur astronomers for community programs like the SOC and Night Sky Network. Eventually there will be articles of interest and other material. Stay tuned.
