thaks for your answer. There is small misunderstanding - we are able to translate challanges, but we are not sure if you have some copyright on it.

If it is possible, can you provide us sources from which pdf's were created? That would help a lot. Of course, credit to original authors would remain.

Yes, I understad what you are asking for now! To be honest, we (Observing Challenges Group) will have to have a quick chat on that one, allowing the written source to be made available like that.

Stay tuned!

Hi Karel,

Welcome to the boards. Thanks for your compliments on the IFAS Observing Challenges. Seanie described me as the founder of the challenges (which sounds very prestigious1) but I'm just the lowly guy who posted the original piece about getting the ball rolling. All credit to Seanie, John, and Mick. I am supposed to be getting the Lunar and Double Star challenges together, and they were due for launch at COSMOS, but for various reasons I couldn't get them done. They will be out in October for the Whirlpool Star Party. Sorry Macros42 and others. Hopefully they'll be worth the wait (silently curses the others for setting such a high standard!)

Personally Karel I wouldn't have a problem with translating/hosting the challenges. It would be great to promote links between fellow stargazers across Europe. Let us get back to in a day or so though. Thanks again for your interest.

But I want it Now!

Only joking - maybe I'll even make the Whirlpool Star Party. Sounds like fun.
