Thanks for the encouragement keith. I enjoy the search so much that i sometimes forget that i am looking for a comet lol

What keeps me going is the excitement of not knowing whats in the next field of view, then my curiosity keeps me looking for hours. This morning i swept up M2 which was like seeing an old friend again and behind me was a faint green auroral band and an irdium flare as bright as Venus......the sky is just full of suprises and its those transit events that i like most about this hobby but Comets and Novae/supernovae are my favourite transits of all :D

keep scanning that milkyway :D

Yep, keep it up, pity the nights are getting shorter though :(
