Unfortunately Dave, Venus is going to remain very low in the twilight for the rest of the summer and into Autumn as the Ecliptic becomes very shallow in relation to the Horizon.As you know your self it will not rise again properly till the end of November.

anyway, I know what you're saying, but I'll take what I can get when it comes to Venus.
As long as its more then 10 degrees away from the sun that fine with me as I wont be waiting for twilight to see it since I'll use the scope in daytime, this makes the summer apparition better for me then then having it in Saggitarius in November/December where it never gets high in the sky at any time.
Still though, I'll try then aswell.
