thanks for the link. I took a look and the piccies were spot on. I liked your report too. Sounds like you a great time.
I know you and Martin must be the most dedicated observers I know so I take me hat off to ye! Keep it up and keep the reoprts coming in - I always look forward to them and readt hem all.

I wish you the best of luck with your own observations! Two nights of clouds here which is a bit of a downer however they broke a little after sunset and i could see Venus with the naked eye and located nearby was a bright firey areoplane trail emerging from the horizon...lovely sight. I am on alert for NLC's every night now. Speaking of venus, the link below will show 2 images i took of the planet with an ordinary digi cam through the 8" in daylight and the naked eye planet after sunet.

You gyus have been pretty lucky. For 2 weeks and 2 days now, there has only been 1 (moderately) clear night where I am... :evil:
