Photos Aurora 20th November 2003 was created by gnason
I've uploaded some photos I took of the aurora on the 20th November as seen from Djouce, Co. Wicklow, Ireland. These were taken with an Olympus OM1, Sigma High-Speed Wide 28mm 1.8 lens and Fuji Superia 100 film. Exposures were 45 seconds. The negatives were scanned as 8MB TIFFs. The uploaded files are medium res jpgs but most detail is still quite apparent.

Great pic of the rays John - brilliant colour and your auroral corona came out very well. As you mentioned, I can see M31 quite easily. I know I was right beside you but can't remember what film you were using and exposure time.
