I've seen people mention that they check cloud reports before going out viewing. What sites are the best for this?

I am in to the weather alot and check many forecasts regularly. I always check the forecast before i go out to observe but i find that if you asked me a good site i couldnt give you one,as they all seem to be of very bad accuracy of nightime forecasts. If they say its to be cloudy its clear and vise versa. The ones i always check are met office, bbc and weatheronline

This is the best site I've seen for cloud forecasts. Type in your county (yes, it covers Ireland) and hey presto.... Navigate around - there's lots of info that's useful. And its free!

I back it up with the met office (UK) satellite images

Met Eireann is a bit slow at times and too general. But worth a look all the same:
