M4, ufortunately, is not a huge event by any standards. Wat we want thrown in our direction is an X4 or higher. A X category flare is even stronger than an M one. They are more than likely last the 93 million-or-so miles to Earth.

Seanie an M4 is a brave size of a flare and can cause radio blackouts, mine the last big geo storm that hit america and it hit just after dawn here, that was an M4 flare. Also the IMF can help boost this to an even greater event. The M4 had left many a crona seen in lots of locations from sothern California
