Heres one image i took of a sundog which appeared 22* to the west of the sun well placed in the NW sky. It was a bright multicoloured patch with a 5* long white tail (section of parhelic arc) pointing to the north and parallel to the horizon. It appeared late evening just before sunset.
It was taken from inside a window (i know i know...not a good idea lol)
Looked like there was going to be a solar pillar forming but clouds covered that sky sector during the sunset period.
All best!
