will be one of the speakers at next October's Whirlpool.

Hi David
Great news: We are going back into space! It was just announced that the
launch of STS 114 will be on Wednesday, July 13th, around 1545 Eastern time
(local Florida time). This is exciting news.
Karen, myself, and our three boys will be hitting the road on July 6th to
arrive in Florida around the 8th. We will be staying in our RV trailer. I
will be flying each morning from the 10th through the launch with the
shuttle pilot who has asked for me by name to be his pre-launch instructor.
WOO HOO! We will all get to see the launch as a family. I have all my
duties covered for the time of the launch so that I can be with family.
Thought you would all like to hear the news as soon as it was
available....and from someone other than the TV news folks.
