IAU Symposium

Hi everyone.

Quick hello from this side of the pond! Given that the IAU Symposium at Dublin Castle is coming up in 4 weeks, I was wondering if anyone from the amateur community is attending? Should be a fun conference - the public talk is being given by Geoffrey Burbridge (one of the original 'Steady State Universe' proponents) on Tuesday the 16th.

Registration was 180 euros so I wont be there

I'll probably drop in for the Public talks, though I havent seen any details posted yet?

I see there is a limited number of grants available to assist people who wish to attend the event .
