me again.....
It had been terribly cloudy all night but i got up before dawn as i noticed the clouds breaking in the NW and NE. I went out to the pitch in the hope of seeing an aurora but i was suprised to catch a glimpse of a fairly bright (type 4?) NLC display at 04.00LT. I caught it between clouds only 5* above the NE horizon. I could see linear ripples horizontaly placed. It was a short sighting because of the slow dark east moving clouds but i was very lucky to see another display in such quick sucession. My 8th display.
Below is a not so good image at ISO400/2sec Exp/Auto Mode/tripod Mounted.
