All reports suggest nice clear skies across the country tonight. So get your butts outside tonight and lets have some reports/photos/memories to read about tomorrow :)

What a night!!! Stayed up till 2am doing a collaborative imaging session on Pluto and M27! Got some serious photos. Will post them later once I've downloaded and processed them.

Stunningly transparant sky with the milky way arching overhead even from my urban setting! Saw several bright perseids plus a couple of sporadics. The best night ive seen this year.

It was very good alright, fabulous transparency, hardy no moisture/haze so there was little light pollution.
