August 8th NLC's was created by martinastro
I spotted another NLC display this morning from 03.50 - 04.36 LT. It grew rapidly from nowhere until it dominated the NW - NE sky beofre dawn. It was bright (type 3) and of NLC types IIB + IV. The colour was a obvious white/green with blue sections in the NE. It held up very well against the bright pre dawn twilight..my 10th display of the season.

Also seen 12 Perseids and found two new galaxies while comet hunting before dawn. Another good nights observing. Images below....
