It has to cost spammer more to spam than they can possibly make if we are ever to eradicate this scourge!

I think it's crap. This case has gone on for a year. The maximum penalty he could have got is â‚¬3000 per uninvited call. Fining him â‚¬1500 isn't even a slap on the wrist. The judge didn't have to restrict it to the 5 people who made the complaints - this was not a civil case it was a criminal case. And as such the judge should have reckoned in all the illegal calls since he started this activity.
