KAS observing session tonight was created by dpower
Hi all,
We've changed th plans for our meeting tonight, thankfully the sky is looking clear so we're going to head out on the Curragh and look at some stars.
Everyone is welcome to join us, we're meeting up behind the Keg pub in Newbridge and heading from there to Lumville house for a quick pint and a chat before it gets dark.
If you're interested send me a PM before 8.15 or ring me on 0872510482. I'll have the phone with me, so if you're coming along later and need directions feel free to phone.
Regards,
Dave Power

Twas a good night last night. Thanks to Dave Power and Johnno for organising it. I think Shane's RA88s stole the show however. Some excellent deep sky views through them. In the meantime, I think I'll try and get a bit more practice with my wedge before bringing it out next time! At least I found Johnno's eyepiece for him, which is more than I can say for the other people there!

Yes guy's, a good night observing.
Nearly "lost" an eyepiece but I managed to pick up a whole pile of that RAM stuff for nothing.
Some folks have real problems not having enough of it , but I spent an hour scraping megabits off my shoes this morning.
Jaysus lads there's loads of it free at the KAS observing site.
