Mercury was easy to view with binoculars this evening at about 1725, Venus was terrific as a naked eye object, viewing conditions were good, the Geminids meteor shower is supposed to peak tonight and tomorrow morning and as I speak it is easier to listen to reflections from east European tv signals around 48.250mhz than to go outside, (plenty continuous signals)
