The Quantum Leap was created by dmcdona
Folks - just did the interview for RTE1 radio. The show will broadcast tomorrow night, Thursday at 8.02 pm on The Quantum Leap show.
Mary Mulvihill (presenter) and Ella McSweeney (producer) were great and very very interested. Unfortunately, there was only about 4 minutes of broadcast time available so whilst I mentioned the meeting at Whirlpool to discuss an Irish Supernova Search Programme, it may not air...
Mary was very keen to be kept informed of any developments in Irish Amateur Astronomy - the series runs through to the end of the year. I'm sure if it was an item of sufficient interest, it would get a mention...
Mary's husband is the proud owner of an 8" Meade so astronomy is close to home!
Cheers

Should be interesting. Ella McSweeney is well used to reporting on science for RTE and has done some pieces for IFAS in the past (Transit coverage and observing certs).
