Any Mayo Astronomers?

Just wondering with all the new members on the boards if ther are any other astronomers using this website from Mayo who may want to get in touch with other amateurs astronomers in this area.

I have met Jed already but just wondering if anyone knows anyone else who would be interested in forming a club next year in Mayo.

Hello Ronan,

I live near Ballaghaderren, on the Mayo border. I would be interested in getting in touch with other astronomers in Mayo and also be involved in a future Mayo Club.

I was interested in joining the Sligo Club some time ago but it had been defunct for some time. I noticed that the Sligo Club is still on the IFAS site.

I live just past Newport on te Mulranney road, so I have quite dark skies, when there is not coastal cloud that is!
