All,
If Guy's talk last night in Gonzaga College, hosted by SDAS, was anything to go by, then this Sunday should be quite entertaining.
He spoke of the role of the Vatican in astronomy through the ages.
It was more enlightening and surprising that would have been previously thought.
It was of interest to anyone who likes history also.
I believe this w/e's talk will be different however.
Al, maybe you know more on that
Well done to all involved.

Let me just chech the schedule for Whirlpool I'm sure it mentions what the talks will be about
As far as I know the talk will be based around "Turn Left at Orion".
Some pics from last night at www.southdublinastronomy.org btw.
Cheers,
