Hi all,

Sorry for the short notice on this - I only just got the email about it early this morning!

1. LECTURE:
"Dr. Denise Gabuzda, University College Cork, will give a seminar entitled

“Surprising correlations between the optical and radio emission from the jets of Active Galactic Nuclei”

Thursday, October 20th, 2005, at 4pm, Room 231, UCD School of Physics

Tea will be served at 3.30pm in the School of Physics Common Room

All welcome
Lorraine Hanlon, UCD"

2. MARS:
If you can't see much detail on Mars at the moment, it might not just be bad seeing! There's a developing dust storm which is obscuring quite a lot of surface detail. On the other hand, the seeing might be bad too!

Clear skies,

Terry Moseley
