Milkyway Image

Arrgh! I've made that damned light pollution even worse :roll:
But on the upside, the milkyway sems to stand out a bit better

Dave, what was your technique for removing that light pollution glow?

Av( Aperture Value ) 4.0
Metering Mode Center-weighted averaging
ISO Speed 400

Not bad for 3 minutes!

As you know your stuff can you give me any advice on shooting the Milkyway. I see you used center weighted metering. These are the small things i dont know about. I suppose they mean a big difference on the result. Do you use a scope to track?
