DESTINATION: CAMP KSC
Explore the wonders of Science and Technology through the Science Challenge. This competition, developed by FÃS as part of the new Discover Science & Engineering programme, is aimed at primary school pupils allowing them to become more aware of the growing importance of science and technology and its role in our everyday lives.
As part of this programme we are running a competition in which ten lucky winners, between 10 and 13 years of age, will be heading off to Camp KSC at the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, U.S.A. from the 29th January to 8th February 2004 inclusive.
HOW DO YOU ENTER?
• Test your knowledge of Science and Technology in our "Science Challenge".
• Tell us why you will make a good scientist.
• Fill in the "Challenge Application Form".
• Return the completed application form to "P.O. Box 9521 Science Challenge, Dublin 4".
Winners will be drawn in December 2003.
THE PRIZE
Ten lucky winners will take on the challenge of Camp KSC at the Kennedy Space Centre, Florida, U.S.A. Each pupil will receive a trip to Camp KSC for themselves accompanied by one guardian. The course runs for five days, during that period they will take part in a hi-tech space training programme
