Where in Ireland can you buy a decent 8" telescope whether on the internet or shop(doubtful)! I`d prefer not have to get a telescope shipped from abroad for obvios reasons(price+risk)!
Any advice?

If your price request isnt to high you should go for 2nd hand! Cheap and no less than new. Or you can buy from astronomy ireland or alot of companys from eng. For example telescope house are very cheap. IM sure there are alot of cheap companys its jus the matter of finding them

Dont know what you are looking for but you should be able to pick up an 8" dob for around 200 stg + shipping, if you are willing to ship a scope
