Jackets was created by spculleton
Various students in my school who are involved with different sports and clubs recently got themselves kitted out with stylish new jackets. This got me to thinking, why don't we do that for ourselves?
There are plenty of places which stitch names and logos onto fleece jackets, and it could be a nice way of getting the IFAS and member clubs recognised. We could recognise each other in daylight, and not just by red flashlight! And we could be warm.
Jackets are around fifty euro. If people are interested I can find out more details and shop around a bit more. If enough people want to get these jackets then we can look into designs and so forth.
Any takers?

I'm certainly up for it!
Astro2 got Jackets done a few years ago and they were a big hit. THey were so popular that a mate of mine from Trinity Astronomy and Space Society (TASS, in the days before they dissapeared into oblivion) even bought one!
However, the Biology society here in Maynooth have proper jackets, not just fleeces and they are even cooler and much more usefull for Astrnomers! They are also only 65 Euro!
