2. Once locked, why did Albertw White and Voyager continue to post to that thread?
I'd thought the content of my post was straightforward:
Feedback in the past has been a little thin on the ground when its been asked for. So people, please contribute ideas. Dont worry about the details of implementation of the ideas, that the webmasters job!
As to why? To encourage people to take part, showing that ideas were welcome, and people neednt worry about submitting them even if they dont know how to implement them.

I assume that whoever locked the thread (I think it was Bart) did so in the absence of the designated moderator.
The content of which post was straightforward? Irrespective of that, two further posts were added to the thread after it was locked - whether they were straightforward or not is irrelevent.
I did not receive an answer to question 1. On re-reading some of the previous posts here, it looks like it was locked because the discussion was 'going around in circles'. Am I correct?
Thanks

The post I quoted was straightforward, and I explained why I posted it.
Because I did not lock the thread.I did not receive an answer to question 1.

I'm exceptionally dissapoitned that you, a), think so lowly of me, and b) will refuse to help on anything just because we are not doing everything the way you think it should be done.
The rest of us were disappointed at you Bart for playing a dirty, low card on saying that you were offering your resignation, in retaliation to Dave Powers opinions...
If I am not allowed to make such decisions then you now have my resignation. I cannot be expected to make this place work if I cannot even make the MOST ELEMENTARY of design decisions.
