For those of you who know something about web design you may be interested to hear that the new design is valid XHTML and separates style from content by using CSS for layout instead of tables. This makes it infinitely easier to maintain and to edit. The only down side is that NS4 (Netscape Navigator 4.x) will not work with it because it is a buggy head of crap that should have been thrown out years ago.
Basically I have decided that I don't care about NS4 users, the new page is fully compliant with theficial specifications for XTML and CSS as defined by the W3C so if people are silly enough to use browsers that missimplement the official spec that is their problem not mine!
I wouldn't worry about Netscape 4 users. I was looking through the logs of a site I maintain and there don't seem to be any left.
According to a graph I found on Google, which rather helpfully doesn't actually give figures :roll: , it seems to be about 1-2%, if even that.
What surprised me is that there doesn't seem to be as many people using Opera as I thought.
