Hi guys,
I know very little about imaging and need your help. I have a LPI with my scope and have ordered a Toucam Pro II webcam - I intend to buy a laptop in January. Firstly the LPI - do you slot it straight in without any eyepieces or do you put an eyepiece in first and does part of the eyepiece screw off and the LPI slots into the eyepiece?
The Toucam Pro II needs an adpator to link to the telescope but again same question - does it slot in with no eyepieces or do you put an eyepiece in first and does part of the eyepiece screw off and the Toucam slots into the eyepiece?
Any other advice would be appreciated
Thanks
Neill

The LPI slots straight into either the visual back or the diagonal ... i.e. you do *not* use an eyepeice.
There is another astro imaging technique generally referred to as "eyepeice projection" that does involve using an eyepeice, but this is not relevant to web-cams such as the LPI and Toucam.
