Have waited a long time to get this shot with all the bad weather, have always seen these impressive water towers in Ballinrobe, County Mayo and always thought they may look impressive in a image.So i go my chance and went for it,. Very short exposure, 1/100 0f a sec with a Fuji S5500.Was hoping to capture Earthshine, but was on the northward side of the hill looking south with Moon in south, But a nice image i think.

Lots of people talking about that conjunction, even today in work people who were non-astro were talking about it.

Nice pic by the way Ro. I've one like it but it shows my neighbours chimney pot instead! Foreground makes all the difference when we're tracking down background objects![/img]
