I did hear about the charged-theory before, considering the Moon has no atmosphere and is constanly slammed by charged particles.

Very interesting Mark. Can't say I've ever seen any such storms but then again I haven't done enough observing time either. It'll be interesting to keep an eye on the terminator in the future.
