Last night (19th) the wanning full moon (4 days after full) was 15* above the NE horizon. I was watching for potential aurora activity when i spotted this moon Pillar. It was a white bar 15* high with sharp edges, subtle with a casual glance but impressive with averted vision. I took an 8 sec exp at ISO54 however it is very faint on the image...
