Hi all
I was out before dawn this morning doing my digital Nova patrol when a layer of high level cirrus arrived from the SW. The moon was 5 days after full and very close to Regulus in Leo. At 05.50 a lovely bright 22* Lunar Halo formed sporting prominent blue and red colours....
Also seen 9 meteors.. 4 Geminids, 4 Sporadics and 1 Ursid which reminds me...the Ursid meteor shower peaks late tonight so keep an eye out!
