The moon also sported a nice Corona. I had the 8" S.Cass out and using 49X i observed the Moon, Mars, Delta Cephei, Mu Cephei, Mirach, Almach, Polaris, M31, M32, M39, Gamma Arietis. This is my first offical observing sesion from my new home and the halo made it a perfect opening act!
Clear skies

Try and plant some relatively high growing evergreen trees now where the streetlights are going to shine in on your backgarden, you'll want to keep the backgarden as dark as possible, I've done it - am sure glad I did
It's worth you're while
