My earlier predictions turned out correct. For the 2nd night in a row a beautiful 22 degree Moon halo has appeared again as a complete 360* circle 4* thick with subtle red and blue colours. The ecliptics high position in the south has made this halo very prominent and well clear of low level obstructions. Sky was a murky white overcast (and bitterly cold).
