not at all.. I have another piece about using orion as stellar signpost which may be ideal for beginner also

Really appreciate these press releases you put together - they're a godsend for sending out to folks.
BTW - I'm putting a slideshow together of my favourite images (taken by me) - I'll post it on my website with a link here as a quid-pro-quo for other societies/clubs to use. It'll probably be ready first week of Feb. It'll be MS PowerPoint - and I'll make no apologies

Its good to see them being used...looking forward to PPT presentation..will be helpful, we will be starting a beginners course in astronomy in kerry shortly and I know we are doing astrophotography towards the end.

I have another prez - beginner's guide to astrophotography. Its just a bunch of bullet points, no speaker notes... But there's nice images in it that describe/show how its done... Might be useful. Yours if you want it... I'll post it at the same time as the slideshow and you can choose.
