An international team of astronomers has discovered a planet more similar to Earth than any found to date. This groundbreaking discovery of a new extra solar planet, or exoplanet has been made by scientists searching for Earth-like planets capable of supporting life.

reminds me of the extra-solar planet that Leo Enright was talking about at a lecture one night. He mentioned that very high traces of sodium were detected in it's atmosphere, to which I replied, "Congratulations. They've just found the most light-polluted planet in the Universe!" :)

That's a nice piece of video alright...
I really think it's amazing that they can fnd planets in this manner- hopefully they will find methods of learning more about them in the future.
