I forgot to add... Orion holds just a couple of other interesting objects, or so I'm told!

LOL I remember it well. What Phil kindly failed to mention was that that was about my third false alarm.
Definitely Orion for me just for its visual impact with Coma Berinices a very close second, ooh all those galaxies. Which reminds me Phil, I think were almost due a spring time galaxy fest session with the dobs!
Regards and Clear Skies,
Dave.

Without a doubt it has to be Orion, for the simple reason that it contains my first and only comet discovery (C/1996 Grennan-Lardner) and for two days and nights kept my heart pumped with adrenalin!

I'm goingot haev to cheat a bit! For me it's the Summer Triangle. What a stunning piece of sky with great clusters, lovely nebulae and the only double start I have ever found remotely interesting, Alberio. It also have the milkyway and the HUGE dark nebual the Coal Sack. If I'm not allowed to cheat I'll take Cygnus for most of the same reasons and because it actually looks like what it's supposed to be! Orion would come a close second.

Ursa Major.
Because it has tons of galaxies, and Im going to make it my spring project to look at as many as I can within reach of my scope.
And because I can look at it year round.

Hmmm... dark skies!
