You won't see me touching that one with a barge-pole!
Sure, it seems to be more than a little coincidental, but should it be of any real concern to us here? Does the knowledge that a person MAY (I said friggin' MAY - happy?) have stolen (no dammit that's not the word I wanted to use - better erase that quick!) erm, I mean, may have been inspired by another person's work really have anything to do with IFAS? I don't think so - let him on.

I emailed him last night about the article, pointing out the 'blatant' similarities. His response is:
Yes it is a collection of works by many other authors/researchers that I
have seen or others have given to me over the years, to which I then
added my own spin/conclusions on the matter.
I quite liked Andrew Fraknoi's article when it appeared in Sky & Tel all
those years ago.
The webpage was hastily cobbled together after my talk last year as a
few people wanted some of the biblical references etc so we just threw
the PowerPoint presentation in a html document.
In the talk I *do* credit the original article, but this fact was not on
one of the PowerPoint pages so it got 'lost in translation' so to speak.
The webpage has served its purpose and I think it is better that we take
it offline, which has been done.
Thank you for pointing this out.

David Moore BSc FRAS, blah blah blah...
Believeable?
The link has indeed been removed from 'his' site.

Would anyone who saw this article, and has since been deleted, might actually have it saved or retreivable from their visited pages on their web browser? I'd like to get a hold of it to look at it again!
