ESA in Armagh was created by spculleton
Has anybody made the trip to see the ESA display in the planetarium in Armagh yet? I went up last Monday, on my first ever trip to the planetarium, and I was very impressed with the models. There was a huge model of the ISS and one of the Mars express. I wondered though, what do they have on display there when the ESA stuff is sent back. If that ESA display wasn't there, then frankly I don't think that the planetarium would have been worth the two hour drive from Dublin. I'm sure that when the star-dome is re-opened it will be a big improvement.

I haven't been to Armagh in a while, last time I was there it was a few months before they were going to shut down the star dome "for a few months". I thought it was excellent but it's a while ago so I donlt remember exactly what was there to keep my attention!
Any word on when the dome is scheduled to re-open?
