Astrometry and MPC Reports

Folks - has anyone here ever done any astrometry and/or submitted a report to the MPC?

Anyone ever gotten an observatory code?

I know that Dunsink and Armagh have observatory codes. Perhaps someone there could help you also. Mark Bailey would be the best person to check with in Armagh, not sure who would be best in Dunsink.

Thanks folks - I've been reading the MPC website and whilst the manner of reporting astrometric results seems easy enough, the slightest mistake (because reports are analysed automatically) means the report is bounced.

Also, I've been imaging some asteroids recently per the recommended methods and I not entirely sure that my measurements are within the bounds of accuracy/precision required. I *think* they are but it would be comforting to have someone look them over before submitting them.

Another conundrum I'm wrestling with is that if I go ahead and submit, get an observatory code and then move location (likely in the medium future) would that be considered poor etiquette?

Arnie/AL - you wouldn't have contact details for the Irish observatories and Andrew?
