Jimmy Miller passed a call on to me from someone in the DIT in Dublin who is involved in producing a film where they need a telescope as a prop. The scope would need to have that "old" look -- i.e., date from the 1960s to early 1970s (I'm thinking Dynascope, etc.) or else another option is a brass-type refractor.
if anyone knows of one available or is willing to loan one for the production then they can contact me on (086) 8181931 -- filming is during a three-day period around April 19th. The Director would call out before also to view the scope to see if it was suitable for the authenticity of the film scene.
thanks for your help!

The physics Department here in NUIM have a really nice old Brass refractor, perhaps Jimmy may be intrested in contacting them?
