mad weather, global warming?? was created by dave_lillis
I dont know what its like on the east coast, but here in Limerick, the weather has gone totally mad, if you've got an observatory, make sure its tied down.
I actually found myself occasionally looking out to make sure all is ok with the one in the back garden here.
While we had that run of good weather, it looks like the atlantic lows were getting stacked up and just waiting for the north wind to weaken, if the gulf stream does get stopped by global warming, will that cold weather we had up until last week be the dominent weather, over 10 degrees colder then the norm??

Hi Guys, I was actually awoken at 2am this morning to a violent 'shower' here in cavan, what was unusual was the ferocity of the winds, and downpouring rain, It was actually scary!! It really felt out of the normal, even for springtime.
If that happens, Ireland will be in very serious trouble - no jokin' !! We would have weather every winter as that experienced in Canada !!!!
Keith..

I know of some photographers / observers in Canada, they have clear skies alright - when it's not snowing or when an 'ice storm' is not blowing. They are regularly out in temperatures of -20C for 6 months of the year - ehich is 'normal' :!: for them...
