What surprises me most though is that Ireland has the ability to harness copious natural resources but the public has of yet to be fully sold on the idea. Luckily, there are folks out there developing wind and wave power and solar energy panels plus wood pellet systems (renewable resources) but they cost - and people refuse to pay. Worse, they actively disagree with wind turbines going up in their back yard.
cut their leccy for a week and they'd sing a different tune;).

I'd love to have a small turbine on the roof here, if it generated a good fraction of the power needed to run the house, would't that be great!, many modern turbines are very quiet.

What is really important is to have heard you express your own position without needing a media spokesperson to interpret what you had to say.

after hearing mcdougal yesterday and today, maybe they should put some wind turbines in st. stephens green.
but not a very frequent wind only about 50 days a year and then it is mostly hot air.
