I was just talking to him on the phone a few minutes ago. He is doing fine, and reckons he might get out tomorrow! He's a bit sore when he's walking, but sounds in great form otherwise! He can't wait to get the PST out again! :D

I was only talking on the phone to him on Tuesday night  he seemed fine then, and we somehow got onto a topic about health "health is your wealth", what are the odds!

If he's out this week he'll be doing well, when I had my appendix taken out a few years back and I was in there for 4 weeks.

It would happen of course during great weather. Get well soon.

Best wishes to Michael from me as well!

I had a similar problem when I was ten years old and, in fact, mine had ruptured and the doctors came very close to a misdiagnosis (which proved to be almost fatal).

Nothing beats experience and an elderly doctor who happened to be passing by came up with the right diagnosis at the last minute.

Anyway, hope you are back under the starry summer sky very soon!

Anthony.
