Wanted: Moderators

Hi all,

I am looking for volunteers to moderate boards on this site.

Ideally speaking I am looking for people who will have the time to visit the boards on a regular basis, people who hold offices in their society (therefore probably reliable!) and/or who have experience moderating other online communities.

The boards that need moderating are:

Clubs:

Club News
Club matters
IFAS Matters

Astrophotography (would prefer peopel familiar with this field)

Genaral
CCD
Photographic Film

Computers and Astronomy (I'll volunteer for this if no one else does)

Software
Webresources

One Question moderation means what exactly. I'd be up for it

One Question moderation means what exactly. I'd be up for it

It means that you keep an eye on the section you moderate for any inapropriate content or behaviour posted by members and edit as appropriate.

TBH there will be very little moderation needed here but we need to keep an eye on things.

It also give you the ability to set topics on the fourm as sticky or announcments etc. Thats how i use the ability most in the observing section anyway, eg. make the ISS posts sticky when its visible etc.
