liquorice soup could be either administered through intravenous feeding or a tube feeding technique. This would be alot more efficient of missing ones nutrion at the telescope. Not sure how the right mix for viscosity through the tube would work. May be some computerized metering with a pump would balance the through put.

She follows up the Smith Casserole with Lentil soup, seeing as the word "Lens" comes from the shape of the Lentil.
